Rock on! explores music and musicality through four days of band-building activities. The end result will be a musical performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Our musically talented staff and volunteers will conduct your child toward discovering their inner rock wiz. They will make their own instruments, create their own bands, guided by undergraduate students from UWA’s Conservatorium of Music and local musicians All the while, trying to come up with answers to some challenging questions such as, “What is the difference between music and noise?”, “Is talent or performance more important?”, and “What is an instrument?” No need for previous musical experience, just need a rocking attitude!
