Brian Ellis talk at La Trobe this week

This week in the La Trobe Philosophy Seminar we’re very lucky to have our Emeritus Professor Brian Ellis giving us a talk titled “Fairest and Best: an Essay in Political Decision Theory”. Brian was La Trobe’s foundation Professor in Philosophy when the Department of Philosophy began as one of the four original departments in the School of Humanities back in 1967. Brian has played a very important role in the history of philosophy at La Trobe (for more on that history you can read his entry on La Trobe in A Companion to Philosophy in Australia and New Zealand, see here) and is well-known internationally for his important work in the Philosophy of Science and other areas.
